About the Author

Jo Ann Johnson was born in a small town in North Louisiana during the early sixties; a time when Civil Rights and Social Equality were sought after with outcomes that were not always positive.  She has endeavored to write a story based on a compilation of events that took place in her life and the lives of others living throughout the rural South.

She lives in the Dallas area with her husband Don and seven of their nine children.  They also have two adult children and three grandchildren. 

 The author's desire is that her story will inspire you to reach beyond the difficulties of your past and create a life of abundance that will bring hope to many.
